  1. CICA MS Windows CDROM, April 92 edition.  Walnut Creek CDROM.

  3. The \bbs\fwkcs and \bbs\zdcs directories contain bbs utilities that check a
  4. zip file for a unique arithmetic signature to disallow duplicate uploads.
  5.  
  6. The \bbs\opus directory contains the tools that created the files.bbs files
  7. in the \bbs\opus from each zip directory's 00_index.txt file.  This should be
  8. usable with Remote Access / Maximus / TubFile / Opus / QuickBbs / Superbbs.

  10. The \bbs\pcbtool directory contains the tools used to create the \bbs\pcb
  11. *.dir files.  It also has a utility to create the global index file.  How
  12. well this will work, I don't know.  Please make backups on your
  13. configuration.

  15. The \bbs\rbbstool directory has some tools and hints for installing the cdrom
  16. on a RBBS board.  The file listings are in \bbs\rbbs.  The directory files,
  17. dir.dir, dirc.dir, and dirg.dir are in \bbs\rbbstools.

  19. The \bbs\sftool directory has some tools and hints for installing the cdrom
  20. on a spitfire BBS.  The file listings are in \bbs\sf.

  22. The \bbs\rover directory has a simple utility to convert the \bbs\dir files
  23. to rOver board format.

  25. The \bbs\rbbstool has some directory screens for this disc.  All the
  26. directories are collapsed into 40 directories, so the list displays on almost
  27. one screen.  There is a plain version, a IBM high-bit version, and an ANSI
  28. color version.  If you want to show me what your bbs requires for a directory
  29. area display similar to the rbbs display, please send me the exact
  30. specifications.

  32. The \bbs\dirs.txt file is the basis for the batch files in each bbs's
  33. subdirectory.

  35. If you are a BBS author, and you would like to include your BBS on this disc
  36. set up so people can use the BBS plug-and-play (like "rbbs in a box"), please
  37. contact me.  If you set the disc up for your board with features or
  38. enhancements that aren't on my CDROM, please ftp me a copy to cdrom.com or
  39. snail-mail it to me and I'll credit your account toward future purchases.

  41. I'm not a sysop of all these boards.  I have tried to create file index files
  42. that will be useful for sysops.  Feedback is appreciated.  Prebuilt BBS
  43. configuration files are greatly appreciated.  I've given a number of free
  44. discs to people that help.  I'm interested in how much trouble it is to
  45. update our discs when a new version of the disc is released.
